Great info here especially quick tips your right who does not get drawn towards quick ways of improving something. Even if we do not think it is possable we all still go there to have a look just in case. If you can help people with quick tips then this really is a winner. Do not always use the same number, you will sometimes not on more than 5 different things in the subject or many more things. Variation in the title number also creates more readers. Strong feelings, deep thoughts, strange reasons are also good in the titles.

Great post, Wong. I think you’ve outlined the best headlines used in the last two to three years of the local Yahoo directory in my country.

Though the process is still a solid way to write titles, they’ve become a bit overused lately. They’ve become too common and repeated to the point of needlessness.

What I usually do is combine three forceful, totally random words or phrases from the body of my post and write a title about them. I’ve picked up the technique from a webinar from someone called Jon Morrow.

Feel free to browse through my link and see the sample titles on my blog. We’ve got great success using these methods. Maybe this technique could do well for you as well.

I know when I see catchy headlines they usually draw me into see what it is all about. Sometimes it’s not what I was expecting, other times it is, but they got me there and that is what they wanted to do.

Noone will start anything if they know they’re gonna fail in this. Being honest, 90% of people do not do something unique. They follow others. They see a person from his city or community is earning great, lets start blogging. And i have sen atleast 10 bloggers who started, got a bit popular but couldn’t earn a single penny. so they gave up. One should not actually be like this, if you start, just think that therir are ways to do it and there are new ways too.
