The Fact, The Truth And The Myth Of 3 Online Marketing Kings Revealed !

Thumbnail image for The Fact, The Truth And The Myth Of 3 Online Marketing Kings Revealed !

As you may or may not know, I love to read blogs, and recently, I read a blog post at FamousBlogger.net written by a guest blogger name Chase Brumfield from The Give Project blog (like his blog design) about…

Content Is Not King,
Relationship Is !

Well, once again I heard someone saying content is not king and you may or may not know,  previously there is a dude who fight against me on another blog post that I have written saying…

SEO Is King !

Damn… So who is the king? Relationship? SEO? Or Content? Well… I still stand still to “content,” and in this post I want to spill the truth and the facts that what I believe is truly…

A King !

Now, before you continue reading, I want you to know this: You can have your own believe, and  it doesn’t matter whether is “SEO” or  “Relationship” or “Content,” what does matter is…

You Must Have
An Open Mind !

Because what I’m about to tell you is something that you might not agree with and also something that those damn gurus are teaching that make people confuse between…

SEO, Relationship And Content !

You see, people usually believe something when that something become beneficial to them but they never knew where that something actually comes from and so, in order for you to know and understand, I have written 3 scenario for you and at the end I will explain why…

Content Is King !

Scenario Number 1 :

Let’s take “blogging” as an example,  let’s say you just setup your blog and here’s what happen: You write all the keywords that you are targeting into the article you have written and you publish it on your blog, and every single blog post you write, you insert those targeting keywords into all the articles. And you write and write and write and finally for a certain amount of time….

You Got To The First Page Of Google
For The Word You Had Targeted !

And here’s what happen next: You got tons of traffic from the targeted keywords, and you start getting money from the monetization you had done on your blog, and you start to believe and trust…

SEO Is King !

Scenario Number 2 :

Let’s say you setup your blog and you start writing numerous article and publish them on your blog  and you got great amount of people from the social network to communicate with you and slowly you build up a relationship with them and finally you got tons of relationship with tons of people. And as time goes by, they believe and trust you and when you sell them stuff , they buy from you and slowly you start to believe and trust…

Relationship Is King !

Scenario Number 3 :

Again, let’s say you setup a blog and you start punching quality content into you blog post, but you never do any SEO stuff or you never build any relationship through social network and you got only a few people coming to your blog, but after awhile you start to get tons of people coming to you blog as those few people start recommending others to you blog because of your quality content. And slowly you start to believe and trust…

Content Is King !

Now listen carefully here: What I had written above are all facts that either one you choose to believe and trust… be it “SEO”, “Relationship” or “Content”, they are gonna create success for you and of course the fastest by far would be…

SEO
If Only You Know How !

But, SEO is a very hard thing to learn and understand unless you are a genius then you are going to benefit from it. As for me, I’m a dumb ass to SEO stuff, I do not know anything about them and I do not wish to know for a personal reason that I believe…

It’s A Waste Of Time !

You see, whatever you believe and trust, there always something behind that build up the SEO and Relationship and that something is what most people overlooked and that is…

It All Start With A Content !

It doesn’t matter if your content is quality or quantity, it’s about the content that makes the different between what you really believe and trust. Look, there is no end as to who will win the king position, as long as either one create benefit for you, you can definitely said it’s…

King !

Now, the second thing I want to tell you is about the reason behind why people buy stuff. First of all, you need to understand, people don’t buy just because he believe and trust you, people buy because they want…

A Solution To Their Problem !

And can you tell me where does the solution comes from? Well… it could be a book, video, audio or even coaching, and seminar like type of product but here’s the kicker: Out of all those stuff…

It Is The Content
Behind Those Product
That Make People Shell Out Their Money
For The Solution To Their Problem !

You can’t denial the fact, can you? You can give all sort of reason about why I’m wrong, but if you ask yourself the question of why you buy stuff… You did better don’t say…

“I Buy Because
I Believe And Trust
The Person ! “

What if one day that person sells you junk, what would you say to me? I bet you still have tons of reason behind it. If that’s you, then my friend you can keep on dreaming about it because it’s…

None Of My Business Anymore !

Stay Frosty,

The Bad Blogger,

Also Known As “The Fact Blogger”

P.S. Look, I know there will be people who disagree with me, but as I say, you need an open mind to know some facts even if it sucks. There are a lot of people out there who still believe certain things will work when the fact had already shown him the answer. So what’s your thought about your belief? Is it “SEO” or “Relationship” or “Content?” May be you can tell me why you believe what you believe.

Well, Mr. Bad Blogger, I must say that in this case I have to agree with you. :-)

The reasons why I believe that content is king are the following:
1. Continually providing quality content will engage your readers and ultimately, you will build relationships with them.
2. They will also become loyal subscribers if they like the content you provide.
3. Additionally, they will spread the word via social networks because they love your content which will bring you more readers and the cycle continues.
4. Readers will also begin to trust you because they believe in what you write. Although I do not feel they will buy anything from you solely because they trust you. You have to have their trust but you also need to fill a need in order to make a sale.
5. If you continue to provide great content that is unique and place a few good keywords in your content, it will help you get better rankings with the search engines.

That’s why I believe content is king and I’m sticking to it. :-)

Wow… good five reasons and I absolutely agree it all, especially when you say “Although I do not feel they will buy anything from you solely because they trust you. You have to have their trust but you also need to fill a need in order to make a sale.”
There are still a lot of blogger who can’t face this fact and they though building relationship can make a dime when the fact is they build the wrong relationship because they were all building “free stuff” relationship type.

I think content is King as long as you know how to market your content. If ten blogger are writing on the same topic it doesn’t matter if your wrote the best post because if you can’t get enough readers to visit it then someone else will grab that audience.
SEO is an advance topic for sure but basic SEO is rather simple to learn and have significant impacts on your traffic. I’m not talking about building quality backlinks etc but just some basic things like adding relevant tags, optimizing your title for keywords etc.
Good quality content is important for any blog but unless you do good marketing or do some good SEO work your great content want matter much.

Well, you are right good marketing is important, because almost everyone is writing the same content and it is how the marketing you had done that’s gonna put you on top of the others.

I have tried over and over to get better rankings without much success. My problem is that the cad stuff takes hundreds of hours to produce, Ok once I have done an image I have it forever as a file but producing new content is very time consuming some have asked to see the program and how it works but that is a big task to perform. I did not get into cad to educate others although i would like to but it is just big to cover quickly .
Most cad sites i look at just have photographs on them except for a few and that gets me hot under the collar i have just resigned myself to a very long haul.

Another different idea on the “Content is not King” I read another article at famous blogger and argued with author there and now here to protect my idea “Content is still the King” and even seo or relationship is just born after contents :-) No content, will SEO survive? No, never!!!!

I must say that Content, SEO, Comments, Relationships are all kings of their own kingdoms! it’s kind of complicated, but I think I care for all theme in one package!

You are right, they have their own kingdom, but sometime we can’t learn it all, that is why we only can choose the one and master it… and I choose to stay in the content kingdom more then SEO and Relationship.

Hesham August 8, 2010 at 7:21 am

This is a good choice! but will work better if you do SEO for the good content to be found!

I really don’t know much about SEO, the only thing I know about is using the All-In-One SEO plugin such as inserting keywords… other then that… I absolutely don’t know.

Why can’t it be all of those things? By writing good content, establishing great relationships, and employing solid SEO, you can create a synergy of incredible benefits. No point in limiting yourself to just one. Do it all.

It can be, but since I’m a one man show here, I can’t do it all… but if you have a team of course, it will be easy to do them all… success online marketers can’t make tons of money with only one man’s work, it’s the team that is possible for it to work.

IMO it is like a triangle. You can be weak in any one of the three area’s and still have a triangle.

If content is weak, you can make up for it with loyal readers and SEO for numbers

If SEO is weak you still have great content read by loyal people

If Social networking is weak You are still pulling in people thru SEO and have great content.

IF you COMPLETLY lose one of the three legs, though it may be very hard to function

Just my 2 cents

BTW of the three I like to work on improving content the most, as I think that will influence the other two to an extent. So I guess ultimately I agree

Well, you are right with the three triangle and with one leg gone is hard to function, although I had seen marketers such as Frank Kern done it with his launches without the use of SEO… only content and relationship building put him to creating million dollar launches in a day.

I had went through his stuff such as Mass Control and List Control… all did not talk about SEO of any sort.. Mostly … creating content from scratch and building relationship through email….

This is interesting because I just left a comment on another blog that said that “realtionship” is King and I have disagreed with it to a cretian extent. Let me explain.

If there were only one “kingdom”, I would put it this way.

Quality Content = King
SEO = Queen
Relationship, Friends or Trusted Loyal Readers = Knights of the round table :)

So as to say, that I fully agree with you and believe it or not, this is probably one of the best articles I have read about the subject matter. No matter how one wants to see it, content comes first because without it, what are you going to SEO about? We do SEO based on our content, period. We build relationships to build trust and credibility. The only way we voice it out is primarily through what we say, and that is writing articles or again providing content. Obviously, it is important to bring balance to all this and I think that Hesham’s opinion about having a “United Kingdom” also makes sense. Although, I think he already is way pass providing content. His site has loads of it ;-)

Well, interesting read about your theory, and ya content is the beginning of every marketing structure, without them there is no connection about it.

content and network can’t be a king in a palace. we need to define our goal, characteristics of segment market in targeted area, then choose either content or network we make as the king.

sorry, my opinion seems worst:)
