Tell Stories, But Why?
One of the most important things to realize about telling stories is why you’re doing it. I mean, is it really all that important? You see, when you’re blogging, the number one thing you’re doing is entertaining people. There are thousands of blogs out there, and the one thing you want from your readers is to…
Stick With You !
I mean, it’s all too easy for them to just click a back button in their browser or type in a URL into the address bar, and find something else to read or watch, unless… you have a great story to tell. It’ll pull your readers right into your posts. It’ll entrance them and make it so fun for them to read your content, they’ll never want to go…

Tips For Drafting A Good Story
The one thing you have to do if you really want to become good at storytelling is practice. Everyone is going to tell you that, right?
Practice Makes Perfect !
But, are there any strategies you could use to get a good start? Something that would set you off in the right direction? Let’s see…
- Routine – The very first thing you have to have in your story is some type of a routine, which means that there’s something going on as the story is starting. For example, the main character might be walking in the woods, swimming, talking to a friend, etc.
- A Break in the routine – Then, you need to break that routine, which means that something has to happen which introduce some type of conflict. A good routine breaking event would be someone walking in, someone saying something or doing something meaningful.
- The main character is emotionally touched – Lastly, if you really want to make money blogging through storytelling, you need to make sure that the main character is touched and changed emotionally due to what happened in the story.

Alright, here goes:
The Insanity Of This Pain Is Totally Beyond The Ability Of Any Human To Control !
As you may or may not know, I had a girlfriend whom I love deeply. Since the day we broke off, for no sane reason whatsoever, as she is moving back to her homeland in Thailand, I had been missing the slice of the sweet and romantic days we were together. Just a few days back, one of her friend call me and tell me a very bad and obnoxious news, which shock the hell out of me…
She Got Killed In A Car Accident !
When I heard that, my whole entire body, soul and spirit, seems to go down so badly, I could hardly control myself, and spill my bitterness of tears in my eyes. I immediately book an air ticket and flew over the next day. While on the plane, my mind was totally blank, I could hardly even think anything…
Except The Beautiful, Sweet And Good-Hearted Image Of Her !
I woke up and open my eyes, I realize it was…
Just A Nightmare !
Now, that was just a quick example for you, but I think you get the picture. If you master storytelling, you’ll never have to think about how to make money blogging anymore. It’ll just come to you!

Basically the story must be eye catching and interesting. To be interesting, it must triggers emotions and it must be original, something unique. That’s how I understand that.

Yes, all in all it must be original, and you are right it also had to be unique, if not… well, no one is going to get interested anyway… thanks for commenting, talk to you soon…
Storytelling is less about setting up your reader for a surprise and more about crafting good characters. People read the beginning because they are interested in the eye-catcher. They continue reading because they care about the characters and want to know what they will do next.
The same is true of blogging, I’ve found. And people keep coming back because they want to know what you’ll do next.

No doubt that you have mention all the basic essentials of a good story but only these are not enough. A person who want to write an eye catching story must have ability to do so otherwise he can’t write a good story.
Anyhow, thanks for floating a money making idea!

Hey Bad Blogger! It’s my first time on your blog and no regrets
You’re right when you say that the story should be told in a great way, but what if it’s a technical post? Should one be informal or write formally?
