- Write an article or a blog post
- Create 3 different headlines using the same content.
- Send all 3 different headlines with the same content to IdeaMarketers.com.
- Wait for 7 days or more, and then see the “hits” results.
- Eliminate, the one that pull the less results.
- Take the winner change it to different category that somehow relates to the content.
- Change it every 3 days and record the results, see which category pulls the most hits.
- Once you got a winning headline and a winning category, you have got a winning article that will pull traffic for you like crazy for long term.

I think that it used to be that you could actually get more website traffic by simply throwing a bunch of good keyword search phrases on your pages and in the HTML “tags.” Of course search engines got better, and so the “experts” began to tell us that we just needed high-quality content. “Build it and they will come,” became the operating theory of many. Am I right about this bad blogger.

I have submitted many articles to ezine and goarticles and had some good success from them. I must admit that I have never tried ideamarketers. I think your method of split testing using variations of the title is a great idea. I will give it a try with my next article submission.
