Do You Do Any Of These 3 Wrong Ways Everytime You Write A Guest Post And How To Do It Right !
Dear Friend & Subscriber,
I have been a reader to a lot of blogs, be it a marketing blog, celebrity blog, news blog or personal blog, you name it. I just love reading and finding out interesting stuff. And one of the blog call “Famous Blogger” which is done by a few authors namely… Hesham Zebida a Founder and night creature in chief (doesn’t really look like a creature to me, should call himself “The Night Rider”), Francisco Perez aka DiTesco a Business Administration Consultant, Kristi Hines a Social Media & Marketing Consultant, Andrew Rondeau a Blogging Consultant, Julius Kuhn-Regnier a Online entrepreneur, Nile Flores a Web and graphic designer, James Johnston a Director of sales and web design.
With so much author in one blog, their posting are always quick in a flash that sometime I miss out some of their good and interesting stuff. But luckily, I got one that suck me in to writing this post which was not written by any of the author I mention above. It was written by Tola from “SEO For Beginners | Search Engine Optimisation Blog.” Well as you may or may not know, I’m not interested in SEO of any kind, what I’m interested is the post she wrote in “Famous Blogger” which is…
How Do You Publish The Right Guest Post?
Ok, the first thing and also the number one thing you need to know about guest posting is everyone is “selfish.” I doesn’t care whether or not you contribute positive or unique content to other people’s blog and how much time and hard work you put into guest posting because what you really desire the outcome of guest posting is always…
The Source Of Traffic
That Will Come After You !
But after all your hard work of contributing positive or unique content… you just couldn’t pull in the source of traffic that you wish will become you potential reader for a long, long time. Why is this so? Here’s why… because you are doing guest posting…
The Wrong Way !
Don’t worry, you are not the one that did the wrong ways, there are tons of blogger out there who also did the wrong way including me when I started out in the blogging sphere. Well, I doesn’t know you, but I personally found some ways to do guesting posting…
The Right Way !
Ok, you ready? Here’s the 3 ways I found and how to do it right…
Wrong Way Number 1 – Your Title Sucks (Admit It) :
Almost every blogger that does guest posting had a title that sucks. You see, you can put in a lot of hard work and time to create a positive and unique content, but if your title sucks… well… how in the world can you trigger 90% of the readers from the target blog you aim for to read your first line of sentence? Most probably regular readers of about 20% will start to read your guest post and most probably 15% of them did finish reading your guest post and most probably about 5% will be interested to look out for your blog and guess what?
Only 2% Will Most Probably
Become Your Potential Reader After All !
Well… I guess you doesn’t want that to happen, does you? Not me neither. So how in the world can you write guest post title that really can get most readers of the target blog you aim for to read your stuff? Here’s how…
Write A Title That
Creates Interest And Curiosity !
And how can you do that? Well, it’s not that difficult after all. All you have to do is to use the right words that trigger. I’m going to write a few amazing title and mark those words that trigger…

I bet those title really trigger you. Well, if you really want to find as many trigger words as you can to craft a great title, I highly recommend you to got to” Copyblogger’s Blog“ and read those post title and get ideals from it. This is the fastest and also the easiest way I can think of for you.
Wrong Way Number 2 – Your Content Sucks (Admit It) :
Hey… Hey… Hey… not all guest posting content sucks. Sorry for that, but I guess most of them sucks anyway. Why? Here’s why: You guest post to the wrong audience even if the target blog you aim for have similar subject and topic. Here’s what I really mean: Just one topic such as blogging have many small little category of content which not everyone are equally interested. For example, my blog doesn’t talk much about SEO and Keywords stuff, plus I don’t believe in them so do my readers (I guess), and although it is also part of blogging endeavor…
There’s No Way
You Can Get Much Traffic From
My Blog To Yours By Guest Posting
On SEO And Keywords Stuff !
Why? Here’s why: My target audience are all content believer and not SEO and Keywords stuff believer (I guess), so if I produce your content of SEO and Keywords stuff, my target audience will definitely not get interested even if your title is written with powerful trigger words and in the end…
They Feel Your Content Sucks !
I hope you know what I mean. If not, here’s another example: Imagine you own a wheel company for cars and you try to promote your wheels. Tell me do you try to promote your wheels for cars in a car modeling and painting company or do you promote your wheels for cars in a lorry company or do you promote your wheels for cars in a repair wheels for cars company. I bet you will choose…
Repair Wheels For Cars Company !
But guess what? All this are under the category for vehicles. I do hope you understand what I mean, if not… well I really got nothing to say. But in any case, whenever you do guest posting always remember…
Aim For The Right Audience
That Are Interested In Your Topic Or Subject
In Your Guest Post !
And here’s how you do it: It’s actually quite simple. Find the post that have the most comments and read the content to know what the audience want to know and from there you should know what type of audience they are and what kind of content they like. Isn’t that simple?
Wrong Way Number 3 – Writing Every Details Of The Topic Or Subject (This Is Dumb) :
Do you know what makes an information sell? Here’s what: It’s the insider secrets of that information that is not reveal on the sales page or any other sales publication. Tell me, how are you going to sell if you reveal everything there is to know? It’s the same to guest posting. You do not… I repeat… you do not…
Write Every Details Of
The Topic Or Subject
In The Guest Post !
By doing so, you are giving the blog you aim for a chance to increase his readership rather than yours. You see, you have to understand what people really want. You need to be like them. Act like them. And Be with them. What these people want…
Is Not The Link That
Gets To Your Blog,
It’s The Link Of The Information They Want
That Gets To Your Blog !
Look: Some people highlight their blog name and link to their blog which they think will get click on. Guess what? Most will not click it. Here are two example and guess which want will get click the most?
I’m an SEO Consultant. That’s what I do for a living but at night I’m a blogger. I think it’s the best of both worlds. I use my personal SEO blog to test my newly acquired SEO and blogging skills and then I officially implement it. What more could a girl ask for? When I have time for other things, I love singing, reading frictional novels and watching blockbuster Movies…

Sorry Tola for using yours as an example, but I guess it’s the best I can illustrate the ideal. Anyway, I bet you will choose the second one because that is the stuff you want to know.
Another way of not giving your entire farm away is to use seduction in your guest post. How do you do that? Well… if you know you have 10 tips or tricks or secret, only give away 3 or 5 of them on the guest post and the rest which are the best ones on your main blog post. For example, if you are going to write “10 Amazing SEO Tricks That You Can Implant To Get To The Top Of Google In No Time.” After you wrote the 10 amazing secrets, separate them into two post such as…
5 Amazing SEO Tricks
That You Can Implant To
Get To The Top Of Google
In No Time !
(As The Main Blog Post For Your Blog)
And
5 Amazing SEO Tricks
The Pros Don’t Want You To Know !
(As The Guest Post)
And at the end of the post which introduce who you are, you can write like this:
I’m an SEO Consultant. That’s what I do for a living. If you think this 5 SEO tricks are powerful, there are 5 more which will blow-your-mind-off. You can read those 5 more SEO tricks on my personal SEO blog.
And guess what? You get tons of audience clicking through to your main blog post for the other 5. Not bad for a seducing your target audience.
That’s all for now, I bet there are more which I still had not yet to discover, as you know there is always something new in the blogging sphere that you ought to find it.

First off, thanks for the mention, it’s not everyday I get to be featured on someone else’s blog, lol.
Now down to the nitty gritty bit…
I definitely agree with you that your title and actual content goes a long way. After all, you have to have a good title to make people click it and then take the time to read it. I’ll also consider trying out the teaser thingy, although it also depends on the type of post I’m righting at that point in time…
Now, to the section I don’t quite agree with
.
Most times, I don’t put links on the ‘About Me’ section for it to be clicked on. Its more for the crawlers to see keywords which I’m targeting. I know people would search for ‘SEO Blog’ hence my use of it. I don’t expect people to click on the link because it looks appealing. But more because they have found my guest post interesting so they’re curious to see what else I’ve written. So for me the those links on the guest posts aren’t for users. I think this way because really, that’s what I do when I read a guest post. I don’t click because its a shiny and catchy keyword but more cos I liked the article and curious to see what else the blogger has written. But yeah, I’m aware that most people won’t think the way I do! But hey, I’m alright with that…
Thanks for sharing your thots on famousblogger and for the mention once again!!

Well, I’m just using your intro as an example because I just want to illustrate the point of knowing what most people want as to what most people seldom look at.
You are right as “I liked the article and curious to see what else the blogger has written.” I agree with that… I too sometime want to find out since it curious. But most of the time I go straight to the stuff I really want to know.
Hey TBB,
I fully agree with you that normally guest posts sucks. Personally, I just hate reading guest posts as they don’t really provide any content, just BS to build backlinks.
Cheers!

Ya… absolutely… I guess 90% of the guest post actually sucks… just look at some example at the 13 year old kid blogger, most of his guest post doesn’t really interest me… not much of a content anyway…
Nice post to educate bloggers about guest posting but I do not care how others do. While others suck, I get a chance to do better than others and can get lots of attention.
PS: I am trying to be mean here, sorry for that.
