What you are about to read might offend you, but I rather be honest with you then just hiding my words behind my back. I’m serious . You see, for the last three years, I have been buying marketing stuff online, be it a digital courses or digital products which you can download immediately through the internet, the very best and trusted courses and product I ever brought are all…

Physical stuff !

Now listen up: I have been cheated into courses and products that just doesn’t keep its promise. The worst of all, is their support links are dead. You read that right, they are all dead. Those support links, had no one to operate at all, not even a single soul, is just an empty website. If you ever done that, then get out of my blog. I doesn’t welcome…

Dishonest Humanity
In My Blog !

And guess what? I  just happen to experience that once again.

Here’s what happen…

I brought a product, it’s call Authority Blueprint X (This is not an affiliate link)” created by two marketers call Alvin Huang And Joel Chue. Before I continue, I want to put this straight, all the words that I’m about to write is all in my opinion of how I look at them for the first time as a customer, so in other words, you can still believe in them, trust them, and moreover buy what they offer but remember this:

Always Think Twice
Before You Ever Buy Anything
From Them !

Okay, let’s continue… I brought the product, and read two of his report of Authority Blueprint, after reading it, I immediately  tell myself, “oh boy, is just another brunch of hot air.” Believe it or not, this product, might be a give away product for any give away event in the future. I just feel the information in there is not worth the price I paid. So I wanted to test their guilt. I want to see if they are honest in their hype. Below is a picture of the promise they make in their sales copy…

Do you understand every word of it? I bet you do. Here’s an explanation of what it means: It means, they are very confident in their product, and you had 60 days to review it. Ok, now here’s the kicker: It said 60 days to review, but it never said to return after 60 days or within 60 days. So, if you are a customer what do you think?

After Or Within ?

For any case, I assume it is within the 60 days and because I’m not satisfy with my purchased, they should return a full no-question-asked refund. What’s the deal here? Simply this:

Full No-Question-Asked Refund !

So with that, I send a ticket to their support, and today is the forth day, no reply, nothing absolutely nothing. Can you imagine that? Is okay, I don’t care about it anymore. But here’s what I had learned and the bottom line of what I want to illustrate to you, simply this:

You Can Hype But Don’t Lie,
Because If You Do,
You Will Lost A Valuable Customer,
Who Is A Rapid Buyer And That’s Me !

Now listen to this: Whatever product you create, make sure it contain valuable information of what your market wants, and not what you market needs, if for any reason, your customer wants a refund, face it, refund them in full, so that your customer will had trust in you, at least to them you are honest with your claim. Now, in one of Gary Halbert’s Letter, he mention a case which almost relates to what I had experience, but in a reverse way.

Here’s a case in point, Gary said in his letter,

“Recently, I got a call from a guy who’s having trouble selling his little report on making extra money.

“Does it work?” Gary asked. “Do the people who buy your report get a good deal? Does it really help them to make a lot of extra money?”

“Not really,” says the guy. “It’s basically just a bunch of hot air, just something I threw together because I know there’s a market for this work at home stuff.”

Well, at this point, Gary lost interest. Gary said,”Why should I care about this nickel-dime scammer and his dreary little report?

How pathetic.”

You see, I never forget about this case, as it tells me, if I really gonna create a product of my own, I need to create something valuable which I’m proud of, and not something I’m not proud of. So, coming back to the previous case, I can now say that both Alvin Huang And Joel Chue are not proud of their product.

How do I know? Simply this:

They Never Reply To My Ticket !

Why? Because they are afraid and they had guilt in their deepest and most inner hearts. Remember this…

A Guilty Person

As God Will Know
Where He Is Hiding !

Stay Honestly And Don’t Lie When You Are Selling,

P.S I do hope this post will give you a valuable lesson in your road to success, be it a product, or writing a sales copy, make sure, I repeat, make sure….

You Keep Up To
Your Promises and Claims !

And lastly…

You Can Hype
But Don’t Lie !

P.P.S Whether or not Alvin Huang And Joel Chue are good or bad marketers, in my opinion, I’m sure I won’t buy anything they offer anymore, but I do hope you considered my experience as a lesson you should learn.

Thanks for the links to the plugins.

You did a good job of explaining about the product you bought. If more people would do what you did and right honest reviews there would not be as much fluff sold on the internet.

Thanks

Bo Tipton – no problem friend…

As you can see, almost all review website of products, seems to had hype here and there, is okay to hype, but the biggest problem is the promise and claims that they had make.

But like Atomic Blogger creator said in the free ebook located at MSB:

HYPE does sell!

And yes, reading reviews can be invaluable! But in the end you’ll have to either Believe It Or Leave It Alone

Caleb (Market Secrets Blogger) – ya hype does sell, and like what you said, “in the end you’ll have to either Believe It Or Leave It Alone…” but still I think the promises and claims should be the number one concern no matter how hype you copy cab be….

I think very few products actually lie about what they can achieve , the problem is there is so much for a one person to do in most of these products and an average person who’s looking to make money part time it is too much , so they throw that product away by another and the cycle continues…

Actually you are right most product don’t lie but when it is not valuable as what they said in the sales copy then it is lying. You see, there are claims that said in how many days you could earn this much of money $xxxx and may be get to Google top spot in minutes…. well…. it is hard work and if they said the word “easy’ then is just bullshit.

Very sorry to hear about the bad experience you had with that product. Whether the product is great or terrible is not the issue here. It is clearly stated in their guarantee that you can return the product within 60 days for any reason with no questions asked.

I believe this product is sold through ClickBank and I think you should contact them directly. All ClickBank merchants are required to give a 60 day guarantee on every product sold through them. I had a similar problem a while back and it was the people at ClickBank that gave me my refund.

I hope it works out for you and I wish you all the best.

Oh… I never thought clickbank will refund the money…. seriously, thanks for telling me this. May be next time if I brought anything through clickbank and if the product sucks I will do as what you said.

Thanks for the info… you are the man….

I think you can hype and push the boundaries of believability a little, but you must never ever outright lie about your product (or whatever is being sold). I think in some cases, if a product is targeted at the right group of people and they can see the value in it, you don’t need to hype anything up at all.
