Who is the “Desperate Italian Stallion?” I believe you know who I’m talking about, but… if by any chance you do not know who the hack is the “Desperate Italian Stallion,” well… his an American actor, filmmaker, screenwriter and a Hollywood action heroism. He was nominated for ten Academy Awards in all, including Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay nominations for Stallone and win the Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Directing and Best Film Editing for the movie “Rocky.” He is none other than the great…
Sylvester Stallone !
Well… may be you already know his amazing story, but I bet some of my readers doesn’t know and I’m going to have to ask for a bit of patience from you. Please bear with me… I’m going to write his amazing rag to riches story as a setup to pave the way for me to explain a very important point at the end of this post. Onward. No more messing around…
Let’s Dive Right Into This
Amazing Rag To Riches Story Of
A Desperate Italian Stallion
From New York City !
Stallone was born in July 6, 1946. He was born with a signature slurred speech and drooping lower lip because of his mother using two pairs of forceps during his birth and accidentally severed a nerve and caused paralysis in parts of Stallone’s face. In his early life, he drop out of a beauty school after winning a scholarship for the American College of Switzerland in Leysin where he studied drama and was well received in school production. After a few years, he went on to purse a career writing screenplays under the pen names Q. Moonblood and J.J. Deadlock which neither of the names…
Sold Any Scripts !
In his early days, he had even done a firm which was out of desperation as he was being bounced out of his apartment and eventually finding himself homeless for several days. He found his break through on March 24, 1975, where he saw the Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner fight, which inspired the foundation ideal of the movie “Rocky.” He wrote the script for Rocky in 3 days and tried to sell with the intention of playing the lead role. Ok here’s the best part: Stallone refused a great sum of money which he desperately needed because he insisted against the studio that he wishes…
To Play The Lead Role !
In the end, he finally got the studio to agree to let him play the lead role with a modest $18,000 for the script. Let’s pause here for awhile. From what I had discovered in Wikipedia, it said the story of Stallone being offer as a lead role was largely made up as a marketing gimmick, but whether is true or not, only…
Stallone Himself
Knows It Well !
In any case, the movie “Rocky” puts a break through in his life and from there on Stallone went on to shoot another great movie called “Rambo,” which I believe almost everyone that walks the face of the earth knows. Anyway, a few days back I went on to watch the whole series of “Rocky.” It was one hell of a motivating series. From the day, he was a bum, to becoming a world heavy weight champ and finally a hero that will be remembered as one of the greatest boxer in…
The History Of Boxing Arena !
While watching the last series of “Rocky,” Stallone (Rocky Balboa) said this to his son in the movie:
You Started Looking For Someone To Blame Like A Big Shadow !
Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there if you let it. You, me or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. If you know what you are worth, go and get what you are worth. But you are gotta to be willing to take the hits and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him or her or anybody. And cowards do that, and that ain’t you!
You Are Better Than That !
Well, this hold true to almost everyone including me. Look: Sometime or anytime I used to blame others when something went wrong, and I still do sometime, but every time I have to take the hits myself. It’s just what Rocky Balboa said, “It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” I don’t know about you, but I have been online for almost 3 years and still I don’t get what I’m worth for but for no reason whatsoever, I still believe in making it online… seriously…
I’m Not A Coward And
I Believe You’re Not Too !
So, if you are still not making any money online like me, don’t give up, Stay put at where you are right now and start getting all the hits from everywhere and push yourself to move forward no matter what happens in the next second and that’s…

Very inspiring story , another cool thing that can be learned is that taking the easy way out is not the best way. Stallone could have easily sold the scripts and make some quick cash but he insisted on he being the lead actor and look what that did to him

Ya.. if it was me, I could have sold it… now I know… we always had to look for a long term success and not a short term success.
Thanks Nishadha for coming back to my blog….
