And so it came to pass that I, The Bad Blogger, the “Strange Kind Of Dude” began to wonder, “should I let go all my sexual post on this blog and concentrate on online marketing stuff or should I let it be as what it is?” Seriously…
It’s Kind The Hard
For Me To Choose !
First of all, as you may or may not know, my very first written post on this particular blog was about sexual stuff and this blog at that time wasn’t an online marketing blog of any kind. And time after time, post after post of sexual related articles was written on this blog and traffic starts to flow fast, it only took me about a month at that time…
To Hit A Page Rank 2 In Google !
Not really very impressive, but doable. Every sexual article I wrote fills up with almost 10 to 20 comments which at that time made me a legend in my own mind. In fact, there are some commentators that actually ask me to…
Write A Book About
Sexual Related Stuff !
Can you imagine that? I was like becoming a sexologist. Well… anyway, those sexual post was the motivation and inspiration that brought me into the world of blogging. And once again, time after time, post after post, my mind started to change, and so do what I wrote changed. I started writing about…
Online Marketing Stuff !
In fact, right now, I exclusively write only about online marketing stuff, not much sexual related stuff. But, recently I have received a reply email by Hesham Zebida from the blog Famous Blogger about letting go all my sexual related post and it puts me into thinking…
Whether Or Not I should
Let It Go Off My Blog Or
Let It Be On My Blog ?
You see, for me, I don’t feel like letting it go because as far as I’m concern, those sexual related stuff are truly my best written masterpiece of all time, and believe it or not those post had so much great and unique content that…
It Is Almost Legendary !
(I Can Feel It)
On the other side, if I let go all my sexual related post, I will be able to have more new readers (as in those close minded and sensitive type of people) to come to my blog to read my unique marketing content.
Seriously,
It’s A Very Hard Decision To Make !
For awhile, I thought and re-thought and finally came up with 3 decision which I would like you to follow along with me and see which one I should choose. Here’s the 3 decision:
Decision 1:
Decision 2:
Decision 3:
Well, after some thought, I feel the last decision is what I like, but of course, I still need some advice from you before I make the final decision as…
Multiple Brains
Are Always Better Than
One Brain !
So, what would you choose if you were me and if possible I would like to hear the reason behind your decision. Look: May be your advice could be something that could change the course of my decision after all.
Looking forward For Your Advice,
The Bad Blogger
Also Known As “The Sexologist Blogger”
P.S. At the meantime, I have changed it to the last decision.

In my opinion, I think both of your topics are very good and you do have some excellent articles on both subjects. The problem I see is; there is absolutely no relationship between the two topics which may lead to some confusion for readers and the search engines.
I don’t think you should give either one up since you’ve put in so much hard work and have a following for both topics. What you should consider is getting a separate domain for each niche. In other words, a domain for your make money online niche and one for your sexually related niche. You could move all your posts to each blog with little trouble. It may be a big pain in the rear end to do it but I think the results for the long term will be beneficial.
Just my 2 cents worth

Hmmm… I have done it a few months back, and running two blogs is a pain. But I believe what you say about confusion for readers and search engine, which lead me to thinking about separating both topic again, well I will think about it.
I think you are missing a trick here. Why not try on line marketing of sexual devices such as the famous rabbit and other toys thus killing two birds with one stone. or dildo if you prefer.

I’m not sure what you mean by “on line marketing of sexual devices.” Is it selling sexual device? If so, I have try that too last time … but it seems the money is not that good, worst sometime there’s no money.

Based on what @Robert said you should fit this blog to be about what you want, one topic or the other and spawn the other topic into a sub blog or another blog entirely. Like the badblogger.com/marketing being one blog and badblogger.com/somethingelse to be housing your other articles.
That being said I found myself having specific posts/categories getting much more traffic and I align my blog to where the traffic is. There is lots of competition in all categories and if you find one particular category gets you more popular I would strengthen it to capitalize on it, just because you want to write more about another subject doesn’t mean it will bring in the traffic.

Well, I like what you say about “just because you want to write more about another subject doesn’t mean it will bring in the traffic.” I will consider what you and Robert suggested, separate them into two blogs.
I have to agree with Robert here. You are trying to target two completely unrelated niches with one blog. now, if you had the sexually related topics on a dating and relationships blog, at least they are relevant, although you may lose readers that way.
writing to a targeted niche is critical to success if you want a business blog that brings in money. if you don’t care about making money, you can do whaterver you want.
Also, i see a bunch of self gratification here. no offense but dont get big headed here. I have seen too many people have a little success, and think they are now a superstar. you will drive away your customers this way.
not trying to break you down, just dont want to see you hurt your own reputation. of course that is all my own personal opinion, but I have seen it happen too many times. a little humility goes a long way with people.
So, run 2 blogs rather than one targeted to each niche, and keep a level head about yourself.

Well, you sure is right for what you say, and I don’t see getting big headed is any problem to me , because that’s what I learn in Frank Kern’s Mass Control 2.0. I will talk about this some time in the future, because what you say is about 80% of what everyone is saying and 20% are the people who are big headed like me.
Well, for some reason it’s the same as the 20/80 rule. Anyway, as you say is your own personal opinion, so I don’t see is wrong about it too.
The absolute best thing you can do is to create two websites. Blogging about two different topics like this will hold you back because you will have to deal with two crowds on one blog.
My advice is to create a blog on internet marketing and another one on sex (which you could use the bad blogger for).
Oh, so you mean I have to find another name for my “Internet Marketing Stuff.” Good ideal, but I doesn’t want that, I mean is like going back word, hmm… two blogs… well… now that you, Justin, Robert and James had given me advice on separating them, may be I should…. hmm… Let see if there is more advice to come…

I don’t think you will have a big concern with search engines since most of the time it is the posts they are ranking for keywords but you will have trouble ranking your main url for specific keywords. The big problem will be with your visitors , when you focus on too many topics generally your repeat visitor count goes down
Nishadha recently posted..FOREX trading in Sri Lanka – how to start trading and free FOREX resources
My statistic show it always down when I have no new post, but when I post something new, it went up, I’m really not concern much about URL and you are not wrong to say about “trouble ranking your main url for specific keywords.” because the main issue here is not about traffic but more about decision on concern of my topic.
Well, but you do have a point about focusing since too many topic well eventually lack visitor. Hmm… good point, I will see to it.
Oh… I guess it’s been quite some time since we communicate… good to see you around again.
Ok, I am new here and the first post I get to read here is this. Ok lemee suggest. I agree with what many of the other commentators have suggested, I think you should seperate to either another blog or a sub blog since both the niches are totally unrelated. Ya! Sex and money survive together in the real world but it cannot in the Internet World . What say?
Shiva | Web Magazine recently posted..Rockable Press Rockstar WordPress Designer Revised Discount Coupon Code
I think both can be together in the real world and on the internet, is just that may be I’m not yet professional enough to even mix them up, I have thought a lot and have decided that separate them is a very good advice, but was wondering what do you mean by “sub-blog”? Care to tell me in details what’s that mean? Sorry, if it’s a stupid question to ask, but I rather be stupid then being “don’t know.”
Wow. I haven’t been to this blog before, but I agree with where you seem to be leaning and where others have suggested, and possibly create two blogs. Either that, or
Turn this blog into a blogging guide for sex blogs.
That would bridge both worlds and you’ll be helping other people in that niche.
Tia – BizChickBlogs recently posted..Question of the Week- Do You Consider Yourself Influential
I like your second point, but I’m still not very well prepared to doing a blogging guide for sex blogs, but since I like… may be I will see if I can think of an ideal on how to do it. As for now, I have bring off all my sexual post and started creating another blog.
Thanks for coming by !
Honestly for me, decision 2 all the way!
I mean when the bad blogger was at its peak last year, you were doing both right? you’re traffic is in Alexa 50k and you’re getting so many comments. I don’t know im sure people will tell me that im retarded since in blogging you have to stick into one niche but in my opinion, the bad blogger carved out a brand not on the subject of internet marketing, but on both sexual types of post and internet marketing.
you can do both and if you do it right im sure your traffic will shoot up once more.. believe me..

Well… ur right about what you say, time and technology is changing so do online marketing changes , I will see and think about it… I hate decision making seriously …. is hard man !
Man I do not mind you doing both the contents but I would surely like to advice you to do one stuff only. I advice you to move your sexual post elsewhere. I would say make a personal blog and put those posts there.
It may sound troublesome to have another blog but it will be best.
