Being an entrepreneur is one of the most gratifying things in the world. You get to control your own destiny, and even though there are many lows, there are also many highs.
It’s the Beauty of
Building Your Own World !
However, some people argue that being born in a disadvantageous situation means that being an entrepreneur is out of reach. They say that if you’re born poor, or in a third world country, than you’ll be poor and destitute for the rest of your life.
I say bullshit !
Here’s an example:
Do you know where John Chow was born?

Take a look at his family home, “Visiting The House I Grew Up In”, and you’ll see that it resembles some sort of prison camp that you’d see in a movie somewhere. You might take a look at people being raised in this house and immediately…
Damn Them to
An Eternity of Life
in Poverty !
But John Chow said fuck that, and he’s now making six figures a year (over $40k/month!) and living in a dream home and traveling the country…
Speaking About His Success !
Sure, most people will say that he was lucky, or in the right place at the right time. I call bullshit. John Chow made his dreams a reality because he embraced his inner entrepreneur and did the hard work necessary to become…
Successful !
If you walk the streets of Afghanistan, you might think that these are people with no chance.
Not true !
In Kabul, you’ll see five year old kids patching potholes for cash. You’ll see teenagers buying and selling phone cards, profiting on the margins. You’ll see entrepreneurs all over the place, building businesses…
Brick By Brick !
Heck, there are people in Africa taking loans to build a business, without any ounce of an economy in place! Organizations like Kiva are creating…
Amazing Opportunities
for People !
Now for those of you born in America, or in the western world, claiming that you don’t have enough time or money to start a business, then I’m going to call you out. Success as an entrepreneur isn’t about making excuses, or finding reasons why you can’t do it. Success is about changing your mindset and deciding that yes…
You Too Are Going to Achieve
Your Dreams !
I could point to a thousand success stories of people born in rags and later earning riches, just as I could point to hundreds of examples of immigrants moving west and working so hard that they build wealth that last for generations. You know it’s true and that’s why I say that entrepreneurship is…
A Double Edge Sword !
You can either try to find success, no matter how hard you have to work for it, or you can let excuses rule your world, and spend the rest of your life…
Wishing
You Gave it a Shot !
Success has nothing at all to do with who your family is, or where you are born. It’s all about mindset.
Do You Have it ?

Hi Wong,
Very true…. Success is all about how you deal with the world. It has no relation with your background and relations.

Bravo Wong! Bravo!
Yeah, the world may be unfair. Some people are born with a silver spoon in their mouth.. Some with a rusty spoon.. but it doesn’t mean we can’t do anything about it. It doesn’t mean we stay poor if we started as poor. True enough, it’s all in the mind.

Right. We never know Wong. We always have fears that could block our way but if we decide to keep moving forward despite the obstacles, there would always be a reward at the end of the road.

You got this one exactly right.
My grandpa was a farmer, and my mom never made much of anything of herself, but I personally, through the power of assumptions, have built a great life for myself. On top of that, things just keep getting better.
Entrepreneurship is a spirit that you have, and if you don’t have it, you can create it for yourself just by believing it. It doesn’t take anything more than changing your mind, and your life changes with it.
Woo! I really like this site.
